Ode to School
Small, old
Creeky
Leaky
It is a home
Students like siblings
Parents
Kids
Everybody learns
School is like love
It too has its ups and downs
There is no pool
It’s still cool
Students are wild
All are individual
Some skate
Some skoot
Some scale
Many don’t fail
Everything speeds up
As it’s supposed to wind down
Seniors are waiting
Almost in college
Juniors are hating
Always contemplating
